Pixel 10 Pro review: a phone built for the way you actually use it

Two weeks of daily driving, 4,200 photos through San Francisco fog, a deliberately abused battery, and a camera that finally beats the iPhone in low light. Our verdict, the lab numbers, and the one setting we left turned off.

Today's review

Pixel 10 Pro — the quiet, complete flagship

No gimmicks, no overheating, no asterisks. After 14 days we kept reaching for it.

Google's tenth-generation Pixel is the first one we'd hand to a non-enthusiast without a 20-minute setup lecture. The new Tensor G4 runs cool, the 6.3-inch LTPO display hits a measured 2,640 nits in our lab (best in class), and the battery comfortably survived a 14-hour day of mixed use with 22% left in the tank.

What surprised us was the camera. In a controlled low-light shoot against the iPhone 16 Pro and Galaxy S25 Ultra, the Pixel won 7 of 10 scenes — and the three it lost were within a hair. The new "Adaptive Tone" pipeline keeps skin tones natural under mixed lighting in a way that no other Android OEM has matched.

Verdict
Better camera, cooler run, $300 cheaper. For most people, the smarter buy.
More power, bigger screen, S Pen. The right call if you're a power user or coming from a Note.
Pixel wins overall
